In common with many hosting providers, over 80% of the inbound emails to our mail servers are spam. Without effective spam filtering this is in danger of making email all but unusable as a commnications tool. To help prevent this from happening, spam filtering is included as standard on all of our email services.
All email accounts on our mail servers benefit from free spam filtering. Inbound emails are subjected to a number of tests and weighted according to the results of the tests. They are then assigned a rating from OK, SPAM-LOW, SPAM-MID, SPAM-HIGH. Users can then configure rules via our online web mail system to either delete the mails, store them in a seperate folder, attach a message to the subject, or deliver them as normal.
Using this system, the majority of spam can be easily stopped before it reaches your inbox - so you no longer waste valuable time sorting the spam from the real emails.
Our industrial strength Advanced Spam Filtering solution removes spam from your inbound email before it even reaches our mail severs. There is no need for you to tweak settings in order to obtain the best performance - all of that is done on your behalf.
You will receive a daily report listing the subject lines of all the emails containing spam, so all that's needed is a quick scan to check for any false positives, any genuine emails can then either be whitelisted and released from this report, or directly from the quarantine area . Because of the advanced methods used to check for spam, false positives are extremely rare - and in case there are any, one click enables you to whitelist the sender so they will never be caught in the spam filter again.
