The system works by intercepting and quarantining spam before it hits your inbox - meaning you only need to download the email that means something. Just in case, you also get a daily spam quarantine report which lists the subject lines and sender addresses of all blocked emails. In the unlikely event that a legitimate mail is blocked, you can whitelist it there and then so it never gets stopped again.

There are many times when you are moving a domain name from an alternative host when it would be useful to view your web site on our servers before making the final change. So, your site stays live on the old host and you can check all is well with a copy of the site before the final move. But, your domain name is still pointing to the old host. What to do?

We have historically manually setup temporary domain names for you to use for just this purpose. But, now it’s automated! When you create your new web site, a temporary domain is automaticallty configured for you to view the new site straight away.

It will take the format of www.yourdomain.com.efhweb4.eurofasthost.com where yourdomain.com is obviously your domain name and efhweb4 is the particular web server on our network that the domain name has been setup on.

You can now create scheduled tasks in the control panel - ideal for regular jobs that need doing (e.g. sending mailing lists, updating billing accounts etc). We have now started tracking email and database disk space usage in overall disk space calculations. We haven’t historically done this, but we have a number of email accounts and databases (particularly SQL Server) that are taking up very large amounts of space. These have not historically been billed, but we are now going to start counting this usage towards overall quotas. You should be able to see your total usage in the control panel within 24 hours. If it appears that you have a large amount of usage, please contact support@eurofasthost.com so that we can help you reduce it.
